Monday prayer may your day be filled to overflowing, with gods peace, love, and joy.

Today I am born to a new week. I thank You for the view from Monday, for the wide, unworn week stretching out before me, for all the possibility simmering beneath the surfaces of appointments and deadlines. Thank You for standing beside me today, stepping with me into another new beginning and filling me with the insuppressible joy of Your constant presence.

It’s Monday, Thank you so much, Lord, for this wonderful day. Thank You for this bright morning sun, the beautiful breeze and the sweet melody of the singing birds. Thank you for my family, work and all that life holds for me. I praise You for Your love and kindness that keep me soaring in life. Blessed be Your name, for You deserve my praises. Amen.

Dear Lord, thank you for a new day and week ahead that is full of promise and possibilities. Help me. To overcome any self-defeating thoughts or habits when I am tempted to say I can’t “help me to remember that you can and I can do all things through you. Please give me strength and energy for all that lies ahead and may I glorify you in all I say and do in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
