A Christmas prayer. Almighty god, to thee we raise our voices In a song of praise; for thou didst give, In thy great grace, redemption to a fallen race; and on this day we ask again: oh, make us worthy, lord, Amen!
This Christmas prayer I send to you good wishes for the whole year through and may the gift proclaimed In song live In your heart the whole year long.
With Christmas coming by, teach me how to spread the love and joy you have brought me and by family with your coming. May this Christmas, not one family I know go to bed hungry. Give me the strength to help all those In need at the most of my capability. That Is my gift to you oh lord. Amen.
Two young boys were spending the night at their grandparents the week before Christmas. At bedtime, the two boys knelt beside their beds to say their prayers when the youngest one began praying at the top of his lungs.
“I PRAY FOR A NEW BICYCLE…
I PRAY FOR A NEW MUSIC SYSTEM…
I PRAY FOR A NEW VCR…”
His older brother leaned over and nudged the younger brother and said, “Why are you shouting your prayers? God isn’t deaf.”
